Record Heat & Storms
We did it again South Florida! We shattered record highs in Miami and Fort Lauderdale by climbing to 95° in both locations. Storm chances will continue to die down once the sun sets.
With a boundary moving southward and the sea breeze development Monday, scattered showers and storms will be possible by the afternoon. Some storms could turn severe.
Sweltering record highs are out the door this week. A shift in the upper levels of the atmosphere will lower temperatures into the lower 90s with a small chance of showers and storms.
